This unit taught me that different source materials can be used in lesson to help achieve a set goal of the lesson , it can be used to motivate students , it can help them get a better understanding of the language and how to use it in everyday life and it can also help them while completing certain written activities.
I also learned that course books are advantageous to teaching but should not be strictly adhered to, you can use them for specific purposes but should not build all lessons around them.
