During my schooling, our teachers made use of Interactive Smart Boards or IWBs as referred to in this unit. Most teachers had not been trained to use them which ultimately hindered classes instead of aiding them. Other teachers who had spent extra time with the technology were able to produce lessons that were more effective as well as fun for the learners. Even if a teacher is unable to use expensive equipment, lessons can be modified and made interesting through the use of many other types of materials and teaching aids. This will keep students interested as well as make the learning experience more pleasurable.
