Often times there will be difficult or unmotivated students that we will be faced with teaching. it is important to know and build rapport with all the students so that we may be able to help them understand their motivations for learning english. It is not effective to simply insist they do certain tasks and hope for the best outcome, we must engage their interests and hope to make a strong connection in that way.
