This was a good overview of some of the remaining issues to be covered as to do with teaching English classes. I thought it was a very useful last unit and a generally informative non-grammar unit. I often struggle with using native language in my Japanese classes. The kids know I speak Japanese and so do the teachers. The teachers have not encouraged me to speak in English only and I think they enjoy that they can communicate with me in English (especially elementary school teachers). I wish I had been more reserved with my native language skills and I wonder how I can back track some to show that I want them to use English with me. It is a difficult situation but I still feel like it does help in being able to communicate certain difficult grammar ideas at the junior high school level. Regardless, this was a helpful unit.
