This concluding unit explained the activities that are recommended when starting a first lesson. Establishing rapport with students is indispensable in order to have a successful class, as well as finding out about the students goals/needs and their level of English in order to help them learn the language at their needed pace.
Many activities have been presented to be used for Introductions and warmers, as well as what to do on different level groups, large classes, on usage of native language, reluctant students and problems with listening texts.
This is very helpful for all newly teachers in starting and getting prepared for the work ahead.
