This unit covered the many different types of teacher aides that can be used in the classroom. I learned that it is always good to have a back up plan if you are planning on using an electronic teaching aid. Using a variety of teaching aids will keep the class more fun, focused, and less predictable. Using a white board or flip chart is one of the most common teaching aids since almost every classroom will have one. It is always good to do a run through with the teaching aids in case something doesn't go right or in case the lesson doesn't flow with that specific teaching aid like you planned. This unit provided a lot of great resources for English teachers to reference and use in the classroom. Something that stood out to me in particular is the fact that it is harder to read words in all capitals.
