This unit was very informative about what problems teachers can face and provided some useful solutions. I have personally run into all of these problems before and wish I had known these techniques before, but I will strive to remember them in the future. The biggest things I have had trouble with are students using their native language in class and the main teacher allowing it or encouraging it (as well as the main teacher repeating my instructions in Japanese, so the students just wait and don't try to listen to the English). I also run into the problem often of students sleeping in class, or students carrying on their conversations while I'm giving instructions, and the main teacher allowing it to happen, but I think that's just a cultural difference between Japan and my country. I also have a class (at a different school) that I struggled with for a long time because the levels of students were so different (6th grade elementary school, 1-3rd grade junior high school, and a few high school students, all in the same class!) so the section on teaching different levels in the same class was particularly useful to me.
