It has been useful to lean the correct acronyms for all the various external examinations and to understand their different focuses and perspectives. The course descriptions of the various tests which need to take place at each stage of the students' learning cycle has been very instructive. I also think that regular progress tests can help to boost student confidence as they chart progressions and achievement.
