The productive skills are covered in this unit: speaking and writing. There are two typical activities in teaching speaking: accuracy activities which is controlled by teachers and fluency activities, which are concentrated on allowing students to experiment and be creative with language. Many students can seem reluctant to speak in classroom for a carious of reasons, and a good teacher should be fully aware of these reasons and use the techniques in this unit to encourage those students. For writing skills, the following reasons can be considered and incorporated: handwriting, spelling, layout and punctuation. To engage students more effectively and make classes more fun and enjoyable, teachers can add some games in classes.
