In this unit I have learned the importance of using appropriate materials in classroom. I used to think that following a course book is the only way to teach language effectively, but this unit has opened my eyes and taught me to evaluate both strengths and weaknesses of course books. I am definitely more encouraged now to produce my own materials as well, and will be doing more research on English language books on my own time.
