In this unit I have learned methods for teaching receptive skills, namely reading and listening. I have learned not to undermine the importance of these skills, and to appreciate that all four skills need to be developed to master any language. I have started to think about the importance of choosing materials that are of interest for everyone, and to anticipate possible problems for what comes to the level of language in the materials I will choose. I also now understand different ways of reading and listening.
