In this lesson, we watched two videos. Both of the videos are ESA demonstration Classes. Both of these ESA deomnstration classes are taught by the same professor and in both lessons the same content is covered. However, the second lesson turned out to be more effective than the first lesson. Some of the aspects that were different in the second lesson were the teacher attitude, teaching style, as well as the lesson structure. The improvement of these three aspects in the second lesson contributed to a better atmosphere in the classroom as well as a better level of understanding in the classroom. Overall, from this leasson I learnt that the teacher attitude, the teaching style, and the lesson structure can make a big difference in the level of understanding, and the atmosphere inside the classroom. I also learnt that students feel more confident to participate in the classroom if the teacher attitude is friendly and approachable.
