This unit includes reviewing some of the most common problem situations which teachers find themselves involved in classroom environments. These problems are separated into the topics of First Lessons and establishing a rapport with both new and existing groups of students and includes "warmer ideas". The unit discusses problems of teaching a group of students made up of varying levels of knowledge of the English language,large classes vs smaller classes, and use of the students' native language in class. The topic concludes with a session on teaching "reluctant" students and difficulties in using listening texts.
