This unit helped tremendously with learning how to teach more complicated subjects, but broken down in different ways (boomerang, patchwork & straight arrow) which will make the lesson less boring, and hopefully the student more excited to learn. These kinds of teaching methods would work best for me when teaching kids, because not only is their attention span shorter, but kids tend to jump at games, role play, and activities more than adults. That is not to say that these methods wouldn't be great with adults too! When executed correctly and in my own chosen, tested style, I know I can use the skills I learned in this unit to teach grammar and language function well.
