In this unit, I have learned how to manage a class effectively. I need to consider about the classroom arrangement, for example, if I want to teach in a Chinese public school, there will usually be more than 40 students in one classroom, so the traditional form of seating, orderly rows, is the most suitable classroom arrangement. I also learned how to group students to make them more engaged in class and learn more quickly. It is important to shorten teacher talking time to ensure that students have enough time and opportunities to practice. When problem behavior arises, I should keep calm and act appropriately. Moreover, asking for advice from colleagues is never a bad idea if I am new to the school.
