First, I think you should not force people to make comments of certain length. From what I have read, many of these theories are opinion based. There is NO right or wrong answer. Everyone learns differently. Some of the university professors are the best teachers around. I learned how to write properly in university. University professors, some of them teach ESL do not use your method of teaching, yet their students learn proper grammar, vocabulary, sentence structure, etc.
