In this unit I have learned how phonetic scripts are read and how important they are to someone who is learning the English language.
This unit has also taught me that there are quite a few places and manners of articulation to each letter which will make it easier for us to teach pronunciation to students. This unit made me realise that English isn't just about knowing how to speak the language but also being able to pronounce each word correctly and as for us teachers, listening to students pronunciation and articulation plays a big role as it can definitely improve a students way of talking the language.
