In this unit, the videos provided really helped me understood what I have learned so far in all of the units. I have learned from the first video that a teacher's behavior and how he responds and acts towards the students has a big impact to the students. The students tend to not participate as they are shy/scared to provide a wrong answer and how the teacher would react to it.
In the second video, you can see the difference of how jolly the teacher is and how students feel more comfortable and tend to participate more. Teacher's should be friendly so that the students are comfortable and does not feel awkward in a class so that participation of the student increase.
I also noticed that in the second video, the teacher starts the class with asking each other's names which is a good process so that the students will feel less nervous or anxious if they are at the start of the class. This is a good way to build a relationship with the student.
