I liked the overview of the different language learning methods and how they've phased in and out throughout the years; it's plain to see that I presently use a mix of many of them. Balancing praise and corrections, especially in East Asia, is tricky, as the students' first instinct is to clam up. Finally, the most helpful part of the lesson would have to have been the ESA analysis: a basic but practical way to structure any class.
