In the first unit I have learnt about the qualities of a good teacher and a good student, about the roles of a teacher, language levels, learning experience and motivation. The teacher should always be patient, kind, being able to motivate the students, have a good knowledge of the subject, know how to correct the student without making him feel offended and must be a person who loves teaching. A good teacher can make good learners, students who will show the desire to learn, ask questions, think, listen to the language, experiment with the new knowledge and accept the correction. There are factors that influence the learners such as age, learning experience, motivation, nervousness, life experience, behavior problems, language awareness, culture, and language level. There are 6 language levels that depend on the place where you work and the textbook that you work with (beginner, elementary, low/pre-intermediate, intermediate, upper intermediate, advanced) and the Common European Framework (levels A1-C2). At the end of the unit we find the reasons that motivate the learners, such as travel purposes, future career prospects, communication with other people etc.
