Modals or Auxiliary verbs are : can, could, may, might, shall, should, will, would, must, have to , have got to, need to, and ought to. These can express obligation, possibility, permission, ability or advise. Modal verbs are followed by a verb in it's base form. Teaching ideas include role-playing, expressing rules and making signs. In the Passive voice, the object of an active verb becomes the subject of the passive verb. In the passive voice, the subject isn't important. Relative clause is a dependent but essential clause that modifies a noun- it describes, identifies, or gives further information about a noun. Phrasal verbs, or multi-word verbs consist of a verb plus one or two particles. Type 1- Intransitive phrasal verbs cannot be followed by a direct object. Type 2- Transitive Separable phrasal verbs have an object pronoun that can only come between the verb and the particle. Type 3- Transitive Inseparable phrasal verb has the object phase/pronoun both come after the particle(s)
