Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching. This convenient, highly structured design means that you can quickly get to grips with each section before moving onto the next.
Unit 16 is a grammar unit, it's about reported speech and conditionals. We got a brief introduction to zero, first, second, third and mixed conditional. Clear examples and how to teach is shown.
Direct and reported speech come together wiht time expressions. This was a really short unit so it was a good break from the longer ones. Once you learn about the present tenses, it makes learning the past tenses easier. Though it could get a little confusing, I referred back to my notes often to make sure I was correct. This is a relatively much easier unit for me as compared to the present tenses unit. The course materials are clear and concise. It can also mean that I am more confident in the usage of the English language. It will be good for me to share with my students.
