In this TESOL review video, Rick from the United States tells us how he has recently completed the 120-hour TESOL course online from ITTT. Despite already working as an online English teacher, Rick found the course to be very informative and helped him to develop better strategies to deal with the language issues his students have. Whether Rick decides to carry on teaching online or to take his career abroad, his experience with ITTT has enabled him to offer better lessons to his English language students.
Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching. This convenient, highly structured design means that you can quickly get to grips with each section before moving onto the next.
As a native English speaker, I already knew what nouns, verbs & adjectives were. This unit however has taught be about all of the grammar types within each umbrella term, which I had no idea of! It has also re-confirmed by own knowledge about grammar and how it should be used.what I learnt in this unit is us a teachers cant always rely on course material give to us by the school etc and must be able to prepare extra material which will relate to the students and certain topics. Extra material will help students progress and fill in gaps in lessons.I am glad to learn about the \"Common European Framework\" as I was unaware of this framework prior to taking the TEFL course. I also find the Language levels very helpful when trying to accurately categorize students based on their existing knowledge of the English language.
