Irina took our 120-hour TEFL course to enhance her professional portfolio. She is working as an English teacher in Russia and is able to use the learned techniques in her classroom to improve her teaching style.

Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching. This convenient, highly structured design means that you can quickly get to grips with each section before moving onto the next.

It is important when dealing with young learners, to be sensitive to the varying needs of each age group. Each student's motivation for learning English needs to be established at the beginning, in order to address/teach that student to suit their needs. In this lesson we were able to watch two videos and compare a bad lesson and a good lesson. I really enjoyed this unit. It was nice to see something different and have two clear examples of what to do and what not to do. I think it was very helpful to me.I feel that this unit has brought to my awareness the important of deconstructing the present tense. There are several rules that we forget as native speakers that ESL students may find really difficult. Learning tenses is a core part of learning grammar.
