It is better to make your lesson as in detail as you can if you are a new teacher, so can be assure of running the lesson smoothly without skipping any stage of learnin.
However, followings are the recommended contents have been given by this unit as these should be normally included in the lesson plan: Objectives, teacher's aims, language point, teaching aids, anticipated problems, procedure, phase, timing, interaction, class level, number of students, date/time, teacher's and observer's name.
After the lesson has been completed successfully, it is very important for a self evaluation of own jo.
So, the teachers can improve their skills of teaching by noting down their weakness in the past lessons and think of how they can come over that weakness in the futur.
It is true that a good planning of the lesson in advance makes class more effective and easy to achieve learner's objective.
And moreover, it is more important to conduct the class accordingly to the plan, However, teachers need to be flexible with their aims of lesson plan as plans can be changed during the lesson if it seems as the demand of the student.
So, it will need to be modified or continually update.
A suitable goal inspires students and teachers to go along with lesson and make it more enjoyable to achiev.
Revision keeps students active to retain their past language knowledge that they have learn.
