Simple but relevant overview of the different types of testing and eval that can take place in a language program - something we have a lot of experience with and are currently in discussions on how to best evaluate learner levels. Our placement tests have been short due to time constraints and the general level of english being extremely low, however we employ many different methods to provide continuous evaluation and feedback to our students, who all in theory want to prepare for a language exam but have never experienced such a task in their previous academic life (if they even had access to edu) and thereby found themselves overwhelmed by the process itself, this is something we are working on.
