During this lesson teaching materials were discussed, the advantages and disadvantages of different types; from using authentic materials such as newspapers and magazines, created materials that a teacher puts together herself/himself and the use of textbooks that are reprinted and contain the entire syllabus and materials needed to teach each class level in English. Through this teaching I have developed a deeper understanding of the benefits and drawbacks of all areas if only using one type of teaching material therefore as shown in the conclusion of lesson it shared the importance of using a bit of everything to tailor the teaching to the students needs and this can be done using textbook, authentic and created material all at the same time.
