This unit taught me the importance and intricacies of teaching phonology, pronunciation, and speech. Pronunciation and how we speak English is a very crucial part of teaching the language, yet it often gets overlooked in practice. This unit was very informative, I learned so much about HOW and WHY we produce certain sounds, how to isolate the different phonemes we produce, as well as fun activities I can use to teach students pronunciation.
