Unit 15 is about different types and ways of assessing students level of English. They include tutorials, evaluation by the students and tests. Tutorials are general discussions about the results and aims of the lessons. Evaluation by the students can be done in a form of a survey to find out what students think about the course and what can be improved. Tests can be done at different stages of the course which determines their types. The unit introduced different types of external tests as well and who they are good for. I believe it’s important to know about these language proficiency tests as lots of students want to prepare for them and require help from the teacher.
