This short unit reviews some of the major "troubles" that may be faced within the classroom. The first lesson is important as it gives the teacher a chance to establish a report with the students and get a feel for their needs and current level. This unit discusses a few ways to do each including activities for getting to know both the students and how far along they are with the english language. Warmer activities were discussed along with different levels within one class. A few ideas for large class instruction was mentioned along with how the use of native language should be handled in the classroom. the issue of reluctant learners and difficulties with listening texts was touched upon at the end which was interesting.
