This unit starts by giving a complete overview of the various teaching methodologies that are currently available to teachers and distinguishes the differences between them. The unit also introduces the “Engage, Study and Activate” methodology created by Jeremy Harmer for the purpose of providing the most effective method to motivate students, expose them to the language and provide the most opportunities to use the language.
The Unit closes with a variety of suggestions and demo plans for the new teacher to implement to get the best class participation out of students, to keep them all engaged and keep the class interesting and exciting.
