There is a lot of different equipment that can be used in the classroom to engage and teach the students. The board will be a great asset to the class, this is where you write information, vocabulary, and notes. Smart boards are also used a lot not only for writing but also for pictures and anything that can be found on the internet. Overhead projectors can be used if the lighting is correct, this is efficient because you can prepare a lot of the slides before class. Visual aids should be used to teach new vocabulary, these are real objects or pictures. Worksheets will be used often as well. Teachers might like to use a tape recorder or cd to listen to the language. Videos, and clips can be shown in short moderation. Dictionaries will be a key for student success in the class.
