In this unit I have learnt different teaching methodologies. It is good to be aware of different approaches and it is useful to keep in mind specific situations. In some countries the foreign language is still taughed translating from the native language. Especially younger teachers are trying to apply different methodologies. The fact we only use English in English class is a very positive choice but not yet accepted by every student/teacher. Sometimes, in adult classes, people are convinced that the writing part of the language isn't important. I am happy to see that in an ESA lesson writing and speaking are both important parts of language learning.
