As a native speaker of the English language,one can very often forget how involved the language actually is and how many rules it in fact contain, one does not think about it as you are using it everyday but become fully aware when you are doing a course such as this one.
While every native speaker can speak the language this course is proof that not every speaker of the language can in fact teach it.
The unit starts by going over all of the basics of the English language and describing the various part of speech, how and why they are used and some suggestions for how to pass on this knowledge to none English speakers in a classroom. This was a very well put together unit and an excellent refresher.
