This module is about the use of a course book when teaching English, including its advantages and disadvantages. I agree with the points raised and explained in the module. I believe that, when teaching beginners, it is best to use a course book to guide them in learning the basics in using the language. It will also help them feel comfortable and gain confidence in using the language. As students progress, it is best to start integrating the use of authentic materials slowly so students have practical application of what they learned. The more advanced students are, the less teachers should rely on course books and more on authentic materials. In the end, it is always best to study the needs of the students and adjust accordingly.
