This unit began to cover important grammar concepts that a teacher would need to be familiar with when teaching students of any level. This included basic concepts such as identifying nouns, adjectives, verbs and more specific concepts such as gerunds, transitive verbs and superlative/ comparative verbs. I think this is an important unit because it reestablishes things that native english speakers learned in their earlier years of schooling but may have forgotten as they grew older.
