This chapter allowed me to understand the different aspects that make up a good teacher as well as the many roles that a teacher takes in the classroom. It the first time that these things were outlined to me so explicitly. Finding a balance between lecturing and in class activities is something that I have thought about in the past and hopefully will continue to work on in my upcoming classroom. This chapter also allowed me to think about the different factors that will affect the Korean students' learning of the English language. Having taught American students, it will be important for me to think about the cultural differences that exist between Korean and American students in order to maintain respect and rapport with the Korean students.
