Unit 16 covers conditional and reported speech and how to shift between direct and reported speech depending on the speaker and timeframe. The breakdown of conditional forms was made much easier to understand with the template for each form from zero to mixed, this method is similar to statistics conditional properties which functions the same where certain conditions must be met in order for the hypothesis to be accepted or rejected. The chart for direct speech to reported speech was also very beneficial to read, even though there will be expectations to each rule this breakdown made understanding the conversion between one type of speech to the next easier to understand. The diagram for time expression was a helpful way to visualize the separation between active and reported speech.
