Conditionals are if and when statements. The if condition must be satisfied before the consequence when or what can happen. There are five conditionals, zero, first, second, third and mixed conditionals. Zero conditional refers to a fact that will happen no matter what the if or when is. First conditional is used with if and will in the sentence, these are used to talk about real situations that will probably have real life consequences. Second conditionals use if, have and a past participle, this is used to talk about a future unreal situation. Third conditionals uses the words if, would, could, and have. The is used for a unreal past event with unreal past consequences. Mixed conditionals are in between second and third conditionals. Reported speech is when retelling speech said by another. The tense can change depending on who what and when you are talking about the speech.
