In this unit I learned about the usage of authentic materials, created materials, and coursebooks. I learned that in order to have successful lessons, we as teacher need to use material that is relevant to the students' learning needs. Using all these materials in combination, but fitting it to the students'needs is very important.
I can say all these materials helped me as an ESL student in the past. My teachers successfully used them in a way that it helped me understand and learn the English language more and more. My aim is to be able to successfully use these types of materials as well for my future English students.
