This was a useful unit, as it allowed me to improve my understanding about some of the smaller items not mentioned in great detail yet. I was able to better understand how to deal with large classes. I was unaware that teachers may teach up to 100 students, so in the future I will be prepared with group leaders nominated. Being based in Asia, I have used red lorry yellow lorry before, so it was interesting to see that it is used in other parts of the world. I found the idea of same materials different tasks to be interesting. This will be useful as it will allow the students to still engage with the same texts, but adjusted for their understanding. Finally, the section about encouraging reluctant students was very useful, and I will be sure to refer back to it when dealing with this problem in the future.
