Teaching English whether as a Second Language or a Foreign Language, the fact remains, has never been an easy exercise. There will always be challenges. But going through the ITTT course has helped me a lot. There are aspects that I have not been aware of but after doing this course my eyes have been opened. Exist groups are an advantage but I am wondering what happens if you get to teach a class that had been taught by someone else with a style different from yours? Would that not be a challenge since students may expect you to do this gs in the manner your predecessor had been doing? Establishing rapport, your own rapport with the students then becomes handy here. Being careful of what to do and not to do in or during a first lesson is very important as it will create first impressions for both parties (students and the teacher).
I have enjoyed the Units of this course and am glad I took a decision to register for it.
