Unit 19 talks about teaching special groups. I learned about teaching beginners versus individual students, teaching children and adults and the different tactics that should be used in both of these groups. Class discipline and management is especially pertinent in a children-based classroom. Never correct students in the engage stage because you don't want them to feel unmotivated or embarrassed when they don't have the right answers. It's important that the teacher remains consistent, doesn't raise their voice, and treats every child in a fair manner. Discipline is important with young students.
