This was definitely one of the more challenging units in that I have never closely looked at the phonetic alphabet or studied pronunciation at an in depth level. That being said it was very cool to learn the different parts of pronunciation and how complex it can be to understand let alone teach. This unit definitely gave me some new perspective on how teaching students a new language goes beyond vocabulary and grammar.
