It was truly interesting to see the differences between the different lesson videos. The first video demonstrated what not to do in a class room. I admit, viewing the first video was difficult to watch. I found myself—a native English speaker—confused on what was expected in the class at some points. Especially, during the group activity. The second video was much nicer. I felt as though the teacher cared about his students, and only moved on to the next phase of the lesson when he was sure his students understood what was expected of them. I even enjoyed the BINGO group activity, which allowed the students to talk and practice what they had just learned. I look forward to adding the BINGO game to my future lesson plans.
