This unit introduces some of the basic elements of lesson planning. It explains some of the most important functions and principals of a lesson plan as well as how a lesson plan can be organized and what it typically includes. The unit also talks a little bit about planning a sequence of lessons. I found it particularly helpful to have an example of what a lesson plan can look like. Although I have a lesson planned before, I still find lesson planning difficult, especially in allowing for flexibility, so having different models is very helpful.
