This lesson outlined the many tenses that English learners will have to struggle with. I feel as though, with the proper instruction and the right level of motivation, a class could be able to get through this lesson relatively painlessly, however, it would take a lot of planning on the teachers part to make this lesson fun and interesting. The material is quite dense, but perhaps utilizing a jeopardy type activity might make this lesson more interesting to the learners. Having a linguistics background would also be very helpful in teaching this unit as the teacher would be able to offer a better explanation than the basic material offered here. If nothing else, rote memorization and drills will be the most efficient (perhaps not the most exciting) way of getting this lesson across to the students.
