In this unit we learn about the choosing and usage of coursebooks and other lesson materials for the classroom. It says that these books are loved or despised by different teachers. I personally think it depends on what subject is being taught, if purely English then a course work book is essential for extra practice. We learn about the differences between authentic materials and created materials, of course in which course workbooks fall in the latter category. I personally love to use the types of materials showed in the text.
