I got some helpful advice on how to teach receptive skills, how a lesson could be structured, which problems that we might meet and how to solve them. The different reading and listening skills were also really good to get to know because now I know what the long-term goal is, to inspire students to master those skills. I'm still confused about the pre-teaching of vocabulary, should it be done before they read/listen or is it possible to do it after the reading/listening (like in the example you gave with the lesson with the patchwork design)? To do it afterwards could enhance their skills in reading without understanding every word, but I have decided to answer that the pre-teaching is done before the reading/listening in this test since it is good to clear out potential problematic words before they read/listen.
