The way the content has been structured made it easy for me to understand when to use which past tense, as well as identifying the different past tenses. When i see a sentence I look for things such as: simple Past - "ed/d". along with irregular forms. Then there is continuous - was/were + ing. Lastly, Perfect - had + past, & Perfect past - had been + ing".
Going through the rest of the tenses will be easier to grasp now, since I have this as foundation.
